Cricket is the most popular sports in Sri Lanka. Football
follows. Most popular womens sport ist Netball (=Basketbal)
Almost all girl schools have a Netball and an Athletics team.

Rugby, Volleyball, Basket ball and 'elle' [like base ball] 
are played too.
 
Most popular indoor games are Carom and Chess 
 
During Sinhalese New Year Festival season following
traditional games are played.
